How To Make Teriyaki Scampi

A delicious and simple recipe for juicy shrimps! This seafood dish is best serve over rice or can be eaten on its own! A delicate blend of sweet and salty, with the plump scampi's natural sweetness, the whole dish is well rounded that is sure to be an instant favorite.

  • 1 ½ lb shrimp (fresh or thawed )
  • ⅓ cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp butter (or margarine)
  • 1 bunch green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1 garlic (large, minced)
  • ¾ lb tomatoes (coarsely chopped)
  • ⅓ cup parsley (minced )
  • cooked rice
  1. Peel shrimp, leaving tails on; de-vein.
  2. Coat shrimp with teriyaki marinade & sauce; let stand 10 minutes.
  3. Reserving 1/4 cup. teriyaki sauce and drain shrimp thoroughly.

  4. Heat oil and butter in large skillet over medium heat until butter melts and begins to sizzle.
  5. Add green onions and garlic; stir-fry 1 minute.
  6. Add tomatoes and parsley; cook, stirring, 3 minutes.
  7. Add shrimp; cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  8. Stir in reserved teriyaki sauce and cook until mixture boils and shrimp are pink.
  9. Serve over rice.
