Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 4 cups fish or vegetable broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions

In a large pot, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, and peppers. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the diced tomatoes, fish broth, and spices to the pot. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Gently add the fish chunks to the pot. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the soup.
