Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 2 hours
Total: 2 hours and 15 minutes

  • 1.5 lbs turkey breast
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, dried rosemary, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt.

  2. Place the turkey breast in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the turkey breast. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  4. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the turkey breast from the marinade and discard the excess marinade. Sear the turkey breast on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  5. Transfer the seared turkey breast to a baking dish and roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the turkey breast with the juices from the pan halfway through cooking.

  6. Remove the turkey breast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
