Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs turkey breast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
-
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, dried rosemary, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt.
-
Place the turkey breast in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the turkey breast. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the turkey breast from the marinade and discard the excess marinade. Sear the turkey breast on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
-
Transfer the seared turkey breast to a baking dish and roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste the turkey breast with the juices from the pan halfway through cooking.
-
Remove the turkey breast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
