Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh fish, cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 2 habanero peppers, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons crayfish, ground
  • 1 teaspoon uda seed
  • 1 teaspoon uziza seed
  • 2 tablespoons palm oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

Instructions

  1. In a pot, add the fish, onions, habanero peppers, garlic, ginger, crayfish, uda seed, uziza seed, palm oil, and salt.

  2. Add enough water to the pot to cover the fish and spices.

  3. Bring the pot to a boil over high heat.

  4. Reduce the heat and let the soup simmer for 30-40 minutes until the fish is cooked through and the soup has thickened.

  5. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
