How To Make Broiled Scallops

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of scallops
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your broiler to high.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  3. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and place them in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  4. Brush the scallops with the olive oil mixture, making sure to coat each one evenly.

  5. Place the baking sheet under the broiler for 5 minutes.

  6. Carefully flip the scallops over and broil for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until they are opaque and cooked through.

  7. Remove from the broiler and garnish with fresh parsley.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
