Copycat Burger King’s Classic Italian Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Have your favorite chicken sandwich from Burger King tonight without going through the drive-thru. Pair with your favorite side and dig in!

How To Make Copycat Burger King’s Classic Italian Chicken Sandwich

  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 4-6 oz chicken breasts (boneless, skinless, tenderized thin)
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 4 deli-style long buns
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  1. Warm oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Coat chicken in bread crumbs heavily on both sides and lay into the frying pan.

  3. Let cook until golden brown and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Do this for all the chicken breasts and let cool.

  5. Place halved mozzarella cheese slices on the bottom bun then place the fried chicken on top.

  6. Spoon tomato sauce on top of the chicken and place more cheese on top.

  7. Top with the other half of bun and serve.
