How To Make Chilli Crab & Cherry Tomato Linguine

  • 400g linguine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red chili, sliced
  • 500g crab meat
  • 200g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish


  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and chili, sauté until fragrant.

  3. Add crab meat and cherry tomatoes to the pan, cook for 2 minutes.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together tomato paste, soy sauce, sugar, and chicken stock. Pour into the pan and stir well.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  6. Add the cooked linguine pasta to the pan and toss until well coated in the sauce.

  7. Serve the Chilli Crab & Cherry Tomato Linguine hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
