How To Make Bow Tie Pasta with Sausage and Peppers
A savory and satisfying pasta dish with the perfect blend of spicy sausage and sweet peppers in a rich tomato sauce.

Ingredients
- 12 oz bow tie pasta
- 4 Italian sausages, sliced into bite-sized pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, with juice
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the sliced peppers, onion, and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the diced tomatoes (with juice) and the dried basil and oregano to the skillet. Stir well to combine.

Allow the tomato mixture to simmer for 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the sausage and pepper mixture. Stir to combine.
