Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin tips
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sirloin tips and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and garlic. Cook until mushrooms are tender and browned.

Return the sirloin tips to the skillet, and add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes, until the sirloin tips are cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.

If desired, whisk cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry, then stir into the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce further.

Serve the sirloin tips and mushrooms over rice or mashed potatoes.
