  • 4 sheets of nori seaweed
  • 2 cups of sushi rice
  • 1/2 lb of fresh tuna, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp of sriracha sauce
  • 1 cucumber, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Soy sauce, for serving
  • Wasabi, for serving
  • Pickled ginger, for serving


  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and sriracha sauce.

  3. Lay a sheet of nori seaweed on a bamboo sushi mat.

  4. Wet your hands and spread a thin layer of sushi rice on the nori, leaving a 1-inch border.

  5. Spread a thin layer of spicy mayonnaise on top of the rice.

  6. Place tuna, cucumber, and avocado slices in the center of the rice.

  7. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat.

  8. Wet a sharp knife and slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.

  9. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

  10. Serve the spicy tuna sushi rolls with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
