How To Make Easy Salisbury Steak
For a filling and savory dinner meal, try out our salisbury steak! It’s made with tender ground beef, a savory sauce, and mushrooms for a heartier meal.
Mix the ground beef with breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, beef base, ¼ teaspoon of Kosher salt, and half the black pepper.
Form them into four patties, then add the patties to a heavy skillet.
Cook the patties on medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until browned on both sides.
Add the butter to the pan, then add the rest of the salt and pepper to the onions and mushrooms.
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stir, then cook an additional 4 to 5 minutes.
Add the cooked beef patties back into the skillet.
In a cup, mix the beef broth, 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
Pour the mixture into the skillet, then let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.
Serve with mashed potatoes or other desired sides, and enjoy!
