How To Make Copycat Red Robin’s Classic Hamburger

  • 2 lbs. ground chuck
  • 1 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 hamburger buns (cut in half)
  • 2 tomatoes (thinly sliced)
  • Lettuce (as desired)
  • Red onion rings (as desired)
  1. Mix chuck and sirloin together, season with salt and pepper and shape into 16 small hamburger patties.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high temperature, add burger patties and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove burger patties, wrap in aluminum foil, and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Place on buns and top with freshly sliced tomato, lettuce, and onions.
  5. Serve with ketchup and mustard.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground chuck
  • 1 lb. ground sirloin
  • tsp salt
  • ¾ tsp black pepper
  • 12 hamburger buns cut in half
  • 4 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • Lettuce , as desired
  • Red onion rings , as desired
  • Mayonnaise, as desired
  • Prepared yellow mustard, as desired

Instructions

  1. Mix chuck and sirloin together, season with salt and pepper and shape into 12 small hamburger patties.
  2. To make the patties, lay out a cling film on your working area
  3. Place a portion of ground beef on it & mold to form patties
  4. Roll out another portion of cling film to cover the meat
  5. Cut cling film in between patties & wrap individually. Set aside
  6. Preheat grill to medium-high temperature, add burger patties and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove burger patties and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  8. To form the sandwich, place roughly 1 tbsp each of mustard & mayonnaise on the burger buns
  9. Place patties on buns and top with freshly sliced tomato, lettuce, and onions.
  10. Repeat until you assemble all 12 hamburger sandwiches
  11. Serve
