Copycat Cracker Barrel’s Fried Chicken Tenderloin Recipe

How To Make Copycat Cracker Barrel’s Fried Chicken Tenderloin

  • 1 ½ lb boneless chicken tenders
  • 1 ½ cups buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. creole seasoning (divided)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups canola oil
  1. In a large ziplock bag, combine buttermilk, salt, and 2 tsp creole seasoning.

  2. Add chicken and refrigerate for 2 hours to marinate.

  3. In another ziplock bag, add flour and remaining creole seasoning.
  4. Add marinated chicken and toss to evenly coat.

  5. In a deep skillet, heat oil. Fry several chicken strips at a time, turning frequently with tongs until golden brown.

  6. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
