Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Total: 25 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of butter, chilled
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the chilled butter into small cubes and place them in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Take each butter cube and roll it in the flour mixture, coating it evenly. Repeat with all the butter cubes.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).

  5. Carefully drop a few coated butter cubes into the hot oil and fry them until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.

  6. Remove the deep-fried butter cubes from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  7. Repeat the frying process with the remaining coated butter cubes.

  8. Serve the Deep-Fried Butter immediately while it’s still hot and crispy.
