  • 4cupssweet potatoes,mashed
  • 1cupwhite sugar
  • 2eggs,beaten
  • ½cupmilk
  • ½tspsalt
  • cupbutter,melted
  • 1tspvanilla extract

For Pecan Topping:

  • 1cupbrown sugar,packed
  • ½cupall purpose flour
  • cupbutter,melted
  • 1cuppecans,chopped


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk, salt, butter, and vanilla. Mix together and pour into a greased 13×9-inch baking dish.

Pecan Topping:

  1. Combine in a separate bowl the brown sugar, flour, melted butter, and pecans. Mix together and crumble over the sweet potato mixture.

  2. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 35 to 45 minutes.

  3. Serve warm and enjoy.
