How To Make Creamy Green Bean & Potato Casserole
A potato casserole that's generously smothered with sharp cheedar cheese. It's baked for 25 minutes until the cheese just melts into the dish.
- 2 lb green beans, blanched, trimmed, and halved
- 1⅓ lb potatoes, salt-baked, peeled, and cut into cubes
- 10 oz condensed mushroom soup, (1 can)
- 6 oz mushroom, (1 can), sliced and drained
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
- ½ cup milk
- salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- cooking spray
- 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
- ¼ tsp parsley
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all your ingredients together, except for ¼ cup cheese.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Adjust accordingly, then pour into your baking casserole.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle remaining cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve
