If you’re the outdoorsy type who simply loves grilled food and barbeque, then these grilled and BBQ recipes are for you! Cooking at the grill will be no challenge at all when you’ve got our grilled and BBQ recipes at hand.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 rib eye steaks
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
-
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, vegetable oil, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki marinade.
-
Place the rib eye steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the steaks are fully coated. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for even more flavor.
-
Preheat the grill to high heat.
-
Remove the steaks from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off, and place them on the hot grill. Cook for about 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired level of doneness.
-
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and makes for a juicier steak.
-
Slice the steaks against the grain and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
-
Serve hot and enjoy!
