Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, pounded to 1/4 inch thickness
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup capers, drained
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Dredge the chicken breasts in flour, shaking off any excess.

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
