Turn leftover chicken into a tasty appetizer in this buffalo chicken French bread recipe that’s made with buffalo wings sauce, baguette, and blue cheese.

  • 1French baguette,cut in ½ lengthwise
  • 2cupschicken,shredded
  • ½cupbuffalo wing sauce
  • 1cupsharp white cheddar cheese,shredded
  • ¼cupblue cheese,crumbled
  • parsley,chopped for garnish, optional


  1. In a bowl, mix together the wing sauce and shredded chicken. Add more or less sauce depending on the level of spice.

  2. Top each ½ of the baguette with ½ of the chicken mixture. Sprinkle each with cheddar cheese and blue cheese.

  3. Bake the bread on a baking sheet at 400 degrees F for about 8 minutes, until the cheese melts and is bubbly. Remove and top with parsley.

  4. Serve and enjoy.
