How To Make Vegetarian Crockpot BBQ Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 brioche buns for serving
Instructions

In a crockpot, combine black beans, chickpeas, onion, garlic, green and red bell peppers, BBQ sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

Cover and cook on high for 6 hours, or until the vegetables are tender.
