How To Make One-Pot Paneer Curry Pie

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup paneer, cubed
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pot. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Sprinkle in the curry powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Stir well to coat the onion mixture with the spices.

Pour in the tomato puree and vegetable broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Add the frozen peas and cubed paneer to the pot. Stir gently to combine.

Cover the pot and let the curry simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the flavors have melded together and the paneer is tender.

Season with salt to taste.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Transfer the paneer curry to a baking dish.

Roll out the pie crust and cover the baking dish with it. Cut a few slits to allow steam to escape.

Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before garnishing with fresh cilantro.
