How To Make Homemade Chipotle Molasses BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
 - 1/4 cup ketchup
 - 2 tablespoons molasses
 - 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
 - 1 tablespoon honey
 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
 - Salt and pepper, to taste
 
Instructions
- 
In a blender or food processor, blend the chipotle peppers until smooth.
 - 
In a medium saucepan, combine the chipotle puree, ketchup, molasses, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
 - 
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
 - 
Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring to a jar or container.
 - 
Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
