Ingredients
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of cornstarch
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 ready-made pie crust
- Ground cinnamon, for sprinkling
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a saucepan, heat the milk until hot but not boiling.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and salt.

Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted and well combined.

Pour the custard filling into the ready-made pie crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
