Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought pie crust
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 leeks, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a tart pan.

  3. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it.

  4. In the same skillet, cook the leeks until softened.

  5. Sprinkle half of the bacon and half of the cheese onto the pie crust.

  6. Spread the cooked leeks over the cheese and bacon.

  7. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

  8. Pour the egg mixture over the leeks.

  9. Top with the remaining bacon and cheese.

  10. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the tart is set and golden brown.

  11. Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving.
