Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Green food coloring (optional)
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, salt, peppermint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring (if desired) until well combined.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

During the last few minutes of churning, add in the mini chocolate chips and continue to churn until evenly distributed.

Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
