How To Make Whip-Up German Chocolate Cookies

You can make these chocolate cookies easily with some German chocolate cake mix. The coconut flakes and pecans lend them more flavor and texture.

Ingredients

  • 18¼ozgerman chocolate cake mix
  • 1cupvanilla yogurt
  • ¼cupsour cream
  • 1egg
  • 16ozcoconut pecan frosting
  • ½cupflaked coconut
  • ½cuppecans,chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.

  2. Empty the package of cake mix into a large bowl. Combine the yogurt, sour cream and egg; stir into the cake mix until well blended.

  3. Mix in the coconut pecan frosting, coconut and walnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
