How To Make 5 Ingredient Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 2¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups granulated sugar, plus more for rolling
- 8½ oz unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl attached to a hand beater, cream the sugar and butter together for roughly 5 to 7 minutes, until pale and fluffy.

Fold the dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until evenly incorporated.

Cover and set the dough aside in a chilled area for roughly 1 hour.

Portion your cookie dough into 2 ounce balls using a scooper. Roll your cookie balls on granulated sugar then place these onto your baking sheet, inches apart from each other.
