Prep: 10 mins
Dry Time:: 2 hrs
Cook: 1 hr
Total: 3 hrs 10 mins

  • 4 pcs egg whites
  • cups confectioners' sugar

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium-sized bowl, use a mixer on medium speed to whip the egg whites until foamy.

  3. Add in the sugar a tablespoon at a time, sprinkling in as you continue to whip the eggs.

  4. Once the mixture stiffens, scoop into a large pastry bag. Using the star or round tip, pipe onto the baking sheets.

  5. Place the baking sheets in the oven. Bake for an hour, or until the meringues are dry. Using a wooden spoon, prop open the oven door slightly so that it does not fully close.

  6. Turn off the heat and leave your cookies in the warm oven for 2 hours. You need to dry out your cookies completely.

  7. Serve with your favorite coffee or afternoon tea.
