How To Make Chantal’s New York Cheesecake

Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.

In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in the sour cream until just combined. Pour the mixture over the crust in the pan.

Bake for 1 hour, or until the cheesecake is set and slightly golden on top. Turn off the oven, prop open the door, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.

Optional: Serve with whipped cream and fresh berries.
