This peanut butter mug cake is the fastest and easiest way to whip up a delicious dessert in less than 10 minutes. All you need are seven basic ingredients and your trusty microwave. You can never go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate.
How To Make Microwave Peanut Butter Mug Cake
This microwave peanut butter mug cake is moist and chocolatey, making it perfect for a quick pick-me-up.
In a mixing bowl, sift together sugar, baking powder, and flour. Set aside.
In another mixing bowl, combine oil, egg whites, and peanut butter. Mix until smooth.
Fold sifted flour mixture into your peanut butter mixture until evenly combined. Do not overmix.
Lastly, fold in chocolate chips until just combined.
Transfer your mixture into microwave friendly mug. Add enough batter until it fills up to ¾ of the mug.
Microwave the cake on high for a minute roughly, or until a cake tester comes out clean.
When done, transfer to a cool area and allow to cool down. To make this presentable, either dust with icing sugar or top with a generous scoop of ice cream before serving.
