  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  2. Add in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.

  3. If desired, sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the batter.

  4. Microwave the mug on high for 1 minute. The cake should rise and be set in the center.
