Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Let them splutter.

  3. Add shredded cabbage and sauté for a few minutes until it starts to wilt.

  4. Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

  5. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.

  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

  7. Serve hot with roti or rice.
