Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced cabbage
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup tofu, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cups dashi broth
  • 4 bundles of udon noodles

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet or hot pot over medium heat. Add the beef slices and cook until browned.

  2. In the same skillet, add onions, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, and tofu. Cook for a few minutes until vegetables are tender.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and dashi broth. Pour the mixture into the skillet and bring it to a simmer.

  4. Add the udon noodles to the skillet and cook until they are heated through.

  5. Serve the Beef Sukiyaki in individual bowls, garnished with green onions.
