How To Make Chinese Cabbage Fried Rice Recipe

A vegan fried rice recipe loaded with Chinese cabbage, carrots, and green onions.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups Chinese cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.

  3. Add Chinese cabbage and carrots, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.

  4. Add cooked rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until well combined.

  5. Add chopped green onions, and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until fully cooked.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
