  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup of ground pork
  • 1 cup of chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup of shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup of chopped mushrooms
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat some cooking oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant.

  2. Add the ground pork and cook until browned. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.

  3. Add the cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms. Stir-fry until the vegetables are cooked but still crispy. Remove from heat and let cool.

  4. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Scoop 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the wrapper and fold the sides in. Roll tightly, sealing the edges with a bit of water.

  5. Heat enough cooking oil for deep-frying in a pan or wok. Carefully add the egg rolls and fry until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  6. Serve hot with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.
