Ingredients

  • 4 Ribeye steaks, 12 oz each
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 8 garlic cloves, crushed

Instructions

  1. Take the Ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  3. Season the Ribeye steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  4. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over high heat.

  5. Place the Ribeye steaks in the skillet and sear for about 2 minutes on each side until evenly browned.

  6. Add the unsalted butter, rosemary, and crushed garlic to the skillet, then transfer it to the preheated oven and cook for about 6 to 8 minutes, or until the steaks reach the desired doneness.

  7. Let the steaks rest in the skillet for a few minutes.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite sides.
