Ingredients

  • 1 lb. blue crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Lemon wedges and tartar sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper, and parsley.

  3. Mix until well combined.

  4. Using a 1/3 cup measure, form the mixture into 8 patties.

  5. Melt the butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  6. Add the crab cakes to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until sizzling.

  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
