A breakfast sandwich loaded with ham, egg, and cheese on a toasted sourdough bread.

Ingredients

  • 4 sourdough bread slices
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of American cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and let it melt.

  4. Crack open an egg into the skillet and cook until the whites set, about 1-2 minutes. Flip over and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Repeat with remaining eggs.

  5. Toast the sourdough bread slices.

  6. Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the toasted bread slices.

  7. On the bottom half, place a slice of ham, followed by the cooked egg, a slice of American cheese, and the top half of the bread.

  8. Place the sandwich on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
