How To Make Garrett’s Chocolate Covered Popcorn Recipe

Sweet and salty popcorn coated with velvety chocolate – a perfect snack!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn kernels according to the package directions and pour into a large bowl.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.

  3. Once the chocolate is melted, stir in the salt.

  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the popcorn and stir until the popcorn is evenly coated.

  5. Spread the popcorn in a single layer on a sheet of parchment paper and let it cool for a few minutes until the chocolate has hardened.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
