Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.

Cut in butter using a fork or pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in raisins and cinnamon.

Make a well in the center of the mixture, and pour in buttermilk. Stir until just combined.

Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead briefly.

Pat or roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut biscuits using a biscuit cutter or a round cookie cutter.

Place biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown.
