How To Make Hardee’s Jalapeno Poppers Recipe

Spicy jalapeno peppers stuffed with creamy cheese, breaded and fried to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 jalapeno peppers
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

  3. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half.

  4. Place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.

  5. Roll each stuffed jalapeno in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and coat in breadcrumbs.

  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.

  7. Fry the jalapeno poppers in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
