Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 lb spaghetti

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, milk, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and shape into meatballs.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.

  3. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.

  4. Add crushed tomatoes and sugar. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Cook spaghetti following package instructions. Serve topped with meatballs and sauce.
