Ingredients

  • 1 lb linguine pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  3. Add shrimp and garlic. Cook until the shrimp turns pink, around 2-3 minutes per side.

  4. Add white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.

  5. Cook the sauce for around 5-7 minutes or until it thickens.

  6. Add parsley, salt, and pepper.

  7. Toss the linguine pasta with the shrimp scampi and serve.
