How To Make Benihana Hibachi Filet Mignon Recipe

Juicy and tender filet mignon, prepared hibachi-style with a delicious blend of soy sauce, butter, garlic and spices.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6oz) filet mignons
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups cooked Japanese rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, sake, butter, garlic, sugar and black pepper in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until butter is melted.

  2. Heat a hibachi grill to high heat.

  3. Season filets with salt and pepper to taste. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.

  4. Serve each filet on a bed of rice, drizzled with the sauce. Garnish with green onions.
