Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz Andouille sausage
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package directions.

  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and melt butter over medium-high heat.

  3. Add onion, garlic, and red bell pepper to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add sliced Andouille sausage, shrimp, and Cajun seasoning to the skillet. Cook until shrimp is pink and sausage is browned, about 4-5 minutes.

  5. Lower heat to medium and pour heavy cream into the skillet.

  6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.

  7. Simmer for 5-7 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.

  8. Serve Cajun pasta over cooked linguine, garnished with chopped parsley.
