Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, water, sugar, garlic, ginger, and green onions. Set aside.

  2. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil.

  3. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

  4. When the pan is hot, add salmon fillets. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until browned.

  5. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the salmon. Add butter and let it melt.

  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.

  7. Serve with rice and vegetables.
