How To Make Black Bean Quesadillas Recipe

A delicious and easy-to-prepare dish filled with savory black beans and melted cheese in a crispy tortilla.

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of salsa
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Lay out tortillas and spread black beans over one side of each tortilla.

  2. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over black beans and fold tortilla in half.

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Carefully place quesadillas in skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until tortillas are crispy and cheese is melted.

  5. Remove from pan and slice into wedges.

  6. Serve with side of salsa, sour cream and chopped cilantro.
