How To Make Black Bean Burger Recipe
A meatless burger made with black beans and seasoned to perfection.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 can (15oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 small egg
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Burger buns and toppings of choice
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a bowl, mash black beans with a fork or potato masher.

Add in breadcrumbs, onion, egg, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Form mixture into 4 patties.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook patties until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Place skillet in the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cooked through.

Serve on burger buns with desired toppings.
