How To Make Caprese Baked Eggs

A delicious and easy way to enjoy eggs with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil.

Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Crack 2 eggs into each of four ramekins.

  3. Divide cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil evenly between the ramekins.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the eggs are set to your liking.

  6. Serve hot with crusty bread, if desired.
