Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 cup green beans, julienned
  • 1/2 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 25 lumpia wrappers
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, carrot, green beans, cabbage, onion, garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper.

  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  3. Place a spoonful of the filling onto a lumpia wrapper, then fold the sides over and roll tightly.

  4. Moisten the edge of the wrapper with water to seal it.

  5. Repeat the process until all the filling is used.

  6. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  7. Fry the lumpia in batches until golden brown and crispy.

  8. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

  9. Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
